- you cannot say enough about Boris Diaw, a player that just goes with the flow of the game and it's hard to apreciate all the hard work he actually puts in just playing the fundamentals right... he's always in position, always anticipating making plays which should come to no surprise when he puts stats like this:
26pts 9-14fg 8-10ft 8reb 9ast 2st 1b 38min
on his way to helping Phoenix run out from the onset of this latest game against Toronto

- in Atlanta as the season has been progressing it's been someone new stepping up. Showing sparks as of late has been Josh Smith (6th in bpg 2.44) relieving some of the pressure Joe Johnson has been carrrying while Zaza (2nd in spg among C's behind Ben Wallace and ahead of Brad Miller has proven if nothing else this season that he is more of a PF than a C and continues to occasionally struggle... once in a while Al Harrington: 15pts 11reb 7ast vs NJ shows up as he get ready to cash in somewhere on the free agent market next season in yet another losing cause
- Steve Kerr talks about the Kwame resurrection in Lakerland here:
"Phil Jackson said earlier this season that
Brown was missing shots that were
"impossible to miss."
but now it's like :
" He looks like a more confident player and
he's giving the Lakers an athletic
"cleanup" man around the basket."
which prompts him to ask
"Can Brown become a consistent contributor –
a 12-point, 10-rebound, Horace Grant-like player "
Horace Grant is that all you expect from this kid???

- As Eddie Jones goes (0-8fg and 0-5 from 3pt) so too do the slipping Memphis Grizzlies as they drop a game to the Hornets... the same can be said of Cuttino Mobley and whether he can get going again for the Clippers who look to close the gap on the leaders in the West
