Washington's fine tuning

Everyone is saying that the Washington Wizards did very little during the offseason in a way it's true but they (re)acquired two new players in Andray Blatche (yeah, the guy that got shot):


and a recovered Jarvis Hayes (knee surgery) giving the team an entirely different look and a much deeper bench. Even though their major signing of the summer Darius Sonagaila is not 100% (piched nerve in his back), the addition of DeShawn Stevenson in the backcourt gives the Wizards a variety of options for their guard rotations.

Having Jarvis Hayes on the floor changes the look of the team with his three point shooting:




Why even the coach Eddie Jordan has a new attitude when in a pre-season matchup versus the Bulls he mockingly wondered if they would be "able to score in double digits" against the much revered / hype machine that has become the Chicago defence.


In the meantime Washington is loading up on some valuable assets that may help them finally reach the conference finals.
