The hypocrisy of commercializing Ben Wallace wearing the headband but asking him to refrain from playing with it on to fit into the team's concept has been looked at by the team at The Association.

Lebron James has an opinion via the Beacon Journal:

"James, who has worn a headband
since he was 13,
said Tuesday he understands
why Wallace is upset.

I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't
wear a headband;
I'd be upset if they had some rule here,
I don't know why it is such a problem.
It is not disrespecting anybody,
it's not thinking you're bigger
than anyone on the team."

Carmelo Anthony via Denver Post:

"It gives comfort,
I always have to have something on my head.
I don't think I can play without a headband.
I wouldn't feel comfortable. It's part of my uniform.
I got to have it."

Have we seen the last of this? Let's hope so ...this is trivial stuff definitely not worthy of suspensions
