  • J Gurney talks about teams with easy/difficult schedules to start the season at lowpost.net/blog:
  • Anthony at Page 4 suggests that the Raptors should:
"... wait until December 15th, the time when
teams can trade players acquired in
the off-season, and offer Jalen Rose, Aaron Williams
and Rafael Araujo to the Knicks
for Antonio Davis and Jamal Crawford"....

"Between trades like this and smart
off-season acquisitions and draft moves,
the Raptors could be poised to return to the playoffs
as soon as next year. It is absolutely necessary
that they invest in their future rather
than trying to win this season"

  • while Chris Mannix at Si.com tries to defend the same lowly team and their GM Rob Babcock read his article here
  • Stat Shark is proud of their 56% prediction rate for the NBA season so far:
Brett also finds that Garnett has quite the potty mouth and in his previous post:

"he says motherfucker so much
it's like he's in a Tarantino film"

  • MKD at Drop The Dime gives us an injury report of some notalbe players from a fantasy basketball perspective here.
  • Terrence Tate at ProBasketballNews.com gives his perspective on those teams that have the potential to swing a trade or two with the following I offer those that seem if for the most part not too plausible then at least a little interesting:

Funny you mention StatShark, my friend does the accounting for the guys who started that company. Total computer geeks with crazy algorithms give them their picks. Their NFL stuff was money when they had a 55%+ swing in their numbers vs. the spread, which wasn't too often. NBA *should* be easier, especially the first quarter of the season.

I can't believe you would link to this garbage, booger. I'm glad you had the balls to say that his trades were far from plausible! I didn't hold back, though! Check it out:
