Is Biedrins the Warriors' best big man?
Warriors coach Don Nelson has a history of playing with small lineups so it was no surprise to hear him gush about the 6'11 245 lb. Andris Biedrins being the "best big man" on the team. In an article by Geoff Lepper of the Contra Costa Times Nelson get cited saying that while many of the players still are fighting for a spot in the rotation Biedrins:
Which isn't saying much for an out of shape Foyle, sophomore Diogu (struggling with Nelson's playcalling), injured Taft (herniated disk), or incoming rookie O'Bryant (who at least is seeing spotty action).
Biedrins is slated to back up converted center Troy Murphy til proven otherwise.
