Jersey's Nets quietly changing their tune

With moves that don't necessarily grab headlines and letting the free agent market quiet down the New Jersey Nets are quietly going about their business changing the "look" of their team. Today as they released (buyout) Zoran Planinic, the one time 1st rounder (22 overall) is getting crowded out by draft picks as reported by NetsDaily and heading back to Europe to play for Tau Ceramica... according to the NYPost.

"Ilic will be the fourth rookie on the 14-man
roster along with Marcus Williams,
Josh Boone and Hassan Adams.
"

and reminds us that:

"So yes, the Nets hope to land an experienced
swing player or backup point. Candidates remain
Eddie House, Kareem Rush and Milt Palacio
"

The Nets seem to have gone with youth in the hopes that they'll be able to keep pace with their version of a fast break team in the eastern conference.

Only to then dump those that can't keep up.
