the fit
the fit
Finding one's place in the world sounds like it means something. What can the game of basketball tell you about yourself? Where do you fit in? Do you ever really know?
As an athlete, sports gives you wins and losses (a measure of the team's worth) but at the same time it gives you stats (yes a team's record is after all, a statistic) for rating individual performance.
So i was a little surprised when i read Chris Bosh at InsideHoops.com:

"Question: Do you check the standings,
this early in the season?
Chris bosh: I know what our record is.
I know the standings because
people can't help but tell us.
It's looking decent for us right now.
We know we got to get over .500.
We got to keep working and just
try to win every game.
The attitude is changing around here."
Might be taking it out of context but he shouldn't have to be told the standings it should be an obsession. Why does he make it sound like that?
never mind me feeling pissy.
